Alfred Meijboom is counsel, voormalig partner en een van de oprichters van ons kantoor. Alfred’s expertise beslaat het volledige spectrum van intellectueel eigendom. Zijn praktijk omvat zowel procedureel als niet-procedurele zaken. Hij is met name gespecialiseerd in (online) merkenrecht, licenties en domeinnamen, IT, sportmarketing en -sponsoring.
Alfred is arbiter bij de Stichting Geschillenoplossing Automatisering (SGOA), de Court of Arbitration for Art en de World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), en domeinnaam geschillenbeslechter bij WIPO en de Czech Court of Arbitration. Hij voorzitter van de Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Committee van de International Bar Association (IBA). Verder is Alfred lid van de Beneluxvereniging voor Merken- en Modellenrecht, de Nederlandse Vereniging van Informatietechnologie en Recht, en medeoprichter van de Vereniging Informaticarecht Advocaten (VIRA).
