Bart-Adriaan de Ruijter

Bart-Adriaan de Ruijter is a corporate lawyer who has been working at Kennedy Van der Laan since 2004. Bart-Adriaan graduated 'clear pass' from Utrecht University with majors in economic private, public and business law. Bart-Adriaan specializes in corporate and company law, with a focus on commercial litigation and advice regarding commercial contracts.

He often represents national and international clients in proceedings about a wide range of corporate law and financial law cases, such as banking disputes, claims arising from commercial contracts, disputes within a legal entity and directors' and officers' liability. Bart-Adriaan is a member of the professional association Vereniging Corporate Litigation.

In addition, Bart-Adriaan regularly advises national and international clients in drafting commercial contracts and related issues. Recent secondments with the legal department of a large Dutch public transport company gained him a lot of experience in this field.

Bart-Adriaan furthermore focuses on sports law and he is co-founder of the Sports Law Group of Kennedy Van der Laan. Bart-Adriaan is a member of the professional organization Vereniging Sport en Recht.
