Sjoerd van den Ende
After his law studies Sjoerd worked as a lawyer with the
Ministry of Finance and for more than six years as a staff lawyer
with the Administrative Law Judicial Division of the Council of
State. In this last-mentioned position he was involved in,
inter alia, the judicial review of decisions on large
infrastructural projects, for example on the basis of the Road
Widening Emergency Act. Important legal topics he has dealt with
are air quality and European wildlife preservation laws.
He joined Kennedy Van der Laan as an attorney in 2006. His
practice comprises general administrative law with further
specializations in, inter alia, environmental law, public
access to information and administrative law enforcement.
Sjoerd is a member of the Complaints committee of the
municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn.
