Inge de Laat
Inge de Laat studied law in Maastricht. During her studies she
did an internship at a law firm in Curaçao. Inge joined Kennedy Van
der Laan in 2001. Her practice covers all aspects of employment
law, including employment agreements, collective and individual
dismissals and outsourcing projects/transfer of undertaking. In
2007 Inge won the 'Gouden Stoofpeer', a
prestigious prize for the best young lawyer under the age of
35, in the field of employment law.
Inge also specializes in the field of privacy/protection of
personal information and health care. The majority of Inge's
clients are national and international businesses and health care
institutions, but she also assists private individuals in
employment law and disciplinary proceedings. She also advises
employers on the effect of the Works Councils Act.
Inge is the Secretary of the Board of the Employment Lawyers
Association of Amsterdam and surroundings, and she is a member of
the Dutch Association of Employment Law Attorneys (VAAN) and the
European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA). Inge regularly
gives courses in the field of employment law and privacy, including
at PAO Rotterdam and PAO Leiden. Furthermore she regularly
publishes in her areas of expertise and she is one of the authors
of Sdu commentaar, a handbook in the field of employment
law.
