Cécile Schobben
Managing Director
Cécile Schobben became Managing Director of Kennedy Van der Laan
on 1 February 2010. Previously, she worked for Wolters Kluwer,
where she held a wide range of positions in the field of business
development, strategy and innovation. She also worked for ABN AMRO,
where she effected Corporate Finance transactions in the media
sector.
Cécile is a member of Kennedy Van der Laan's Executive
Committee together with Managing Partner Casper Schouten. She
is responsible for the staff departments Finance, Human Resources,
Marketing and Communication, Knowledge and Training Center and
Facilities. Cécile also engages in the execution of the new
strategy, the pillars of which are innovation and intensive
cooperation, within the law firm as well as with clients and
external parties.
Besides her position with Kennedy Van der Laan, Cécile is a
member of the Supervisory Board of LSG-Rentray, one of the largest
organizations in the field of youth care in the Netherlands. This
is in line with social involvement, which is high on Kennedy Van
der Laan's priority list.
