Patrick Wit werkte na zijn studie Technical Business Administration als softwareontwerper, consultant en projectmanager bij een softwarebureau. Daarnaast studeerde hij rechten. Sinds 1996 is hij verbonden aan Kennedy Van der Laan.

Patrick is gespecialiseerd in de commerciële en juridische kanten van elektronische communicatie, complexe IT- en outsourcingprojecten en bescherming van persoonsgegevens. Indien noodzakelijk (en dat is het nogal eens) treedt hij namens cliënten op in gerechtelijke procedures. Ook doceert hij regelmatig over zijn specialismen.
