Joost is partner in het Technologie team. Hij is gespecialiseerd in het opstellen en onderhandelen van overeenkomsten met een technologie-component. Joost heeft veel ervaring met complexe uitbestedingen en andere grote IT-projecten en is het eerste aanspreekpunt voor veel zijn cliënten als zij IT-gerelateerde vragen hebben.
Een ander onderdeel van zijn praktijk bestaat uit het begeleiden van IT-geschillen en cybersecurity incidenten. Hoewel Joost geschillen meestal weet op te lossen voordat deze een rechtszaak kunnen worden, heeft hij ruime ervaring met het voeren van rechtszaken over IT-onderwerpen, zowel voor gedaagden als voor eisers.
Joost is onderdeel van het Cybersecurity team, waarin hij cliënten bijstaat bij de directe impact van cybersecurity incident, maar ook bij de gevolgen daarvan, bijvoorbeeld als cliënten aansprakelijkheidsclaims ontvangen.
Joost is pragmatisch en responsief en focust altijd op dat wat echt belangrijk is voor de cliënt. Doordat hij verschillende keren in-house heeft meegedraaid bij zijn cliënten, weet hij hoe belangrijk het is om het kort en bondig te houden, en om het grote cliëntbelang altijd mee te nemen.
